Jon's professional career began at Peat Marwick and Mitchell (now KPMG) where he worked from 1976 until 1982 in their international tax department before leaving to form his own firm, Kramer Regen Benz & Zitolo. Jon merged his practice into SGKK in 1999, bringing his significant tax specialties in the areas of real estate, high net worth individuals and small businesses to complement the firm’s strong presence in this niche.

Jon attended Baruch College and New York University Graduate School of Business, receiving his CPA license in 1979.

Jon is a member of both the AICPA and NY State Society of CPAs, has served on the New York State and Local Tax Committees, and has lectured at New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.
