Mark graduated from Brooklyn College in 1984 and joined Shanholt Glassman Klein Kramer & Co. that same year.
He became a licensed CPA in 1986. Along with client responsibilities, Mark serves as the firm's Partner in Charge of Audit, keeping the firm current on all audit and accounting issues. This also requires his attention to IT matters, so that the firm is able to stay at the cutting edge of technology, particularly as it applies to the process of conducting efficient and accurate audits.
Following the firm’s philosophy of a multi-disciplinary approach, Mark also has experience in most areas of taxation. Mark is a strong proponent of the importance of client relationships, even when it entails visiting out-of-town clients to continue developing the familiarity and intimacy that only comes from face-to-face interaction that is the firm’s hallmark. Loyal, satisfied clients contribute to the firm’s growth and Mark enjoys playing a role in enhancing those important relationships.
Mark is a member of the AICPA and NY State Society of CPAs where he has previously served on various committees.
